Hit the Road

There’s lots of fun to be had when traveling in a group and these are memories you will treasure forever.  Always try and have some fun activity on your travels. For example, when you travel to Medford – you HAVE to go shopping at Harry & David’s flagship store – it is amazing and extremely tasty – and stop at Wildlife Safari or the Oregon Vortex in Gold Hill (see water flow UP HILL — no joke!). Have you heard of these places? They're on the Internet! Most everywhere you go has something special to see and do – or you can just make your own fun.

Upcoming Travel Opportunities – Open to ALL RAINBOW GIRLS:

California Grand Assembly – March 26th – 29th 2010. Travel with GWA Taylor and Representative to California Olivia Determan to Fresno for a Grand Assembly you have to see to believe. It’s at the end of the Oregon Public Schools spring break so we are talking about visiting San Jose's Winchester Mystery House and Monterey's Aquarium & Cannery Row before heading to Fresno. We’ll let you know exactly when later – but start saving NOW. This trip always includes a dinner theater experience and California Grand is AMAZING – ask anyone who has seen their “Revelations.”

Travel to . . . .well we’re not totally sure where we’re going, but maybe Wenatchee for the Washington-Idaho GWA Reception April 24th. We always have a rockin’ good time wherever we go in Washington and make LOTS of friends everywhere. So, this may be an overnight Rainbow Road Trip also!

RENO (fun even if you’re not old enough to gamble) May 1st. Join GWA Taylor, GWAA Alena and Grand Charity Malika for the Nevada GWA/GWAA Reception. This is a new opportunity for our group this year.

84th OREGON GRAND ASSEMBLY June 24th to 26th. Drop whatever you’re doing and go to Pendleton to see who gets a wish granted. If you submit a wish request you have to be present for it to be granted. Come be apart of the celebration of a productive year.

Washington-Idaho’s Grand Assembly in Yakima — July 9th-12th. Join Alena for her FIRST out-of-state engagement as GWA. Let’s get a BIG group to go — it’s an affordable out-of-state visit to another jurisdiction’s Grand Assembly.  There’s no sleep to be had, but you WILL have a good time.

Supreme Assembly – July 2010 – in Omaha Nebraska. Start putting your money away for it now. Talk to the 10 girls who went to Chicago!!!

There are lots of opportunities to travel within Oregon – Official Visits and Grand Officer Receptions are a blast – and if they’re out of the area it can provide YOU with the opportunity to have fun on the road.
